Sometimes when I’m at a wedding, people will ask me, “What is the best part of being a wedding photographer?” and while there are so many things that immediately come to mind, one of my favorite things is when bridesmaids I’ve worked with become Watson Brides. 🙂
It’s actually how I first met Molly, at Alyssa & Tim’s wedding, one of my couples from earlier in 2021. 🙂 When they got engaged a month later and reached out I was ecstatic!
Molly & Jeff had planned a fun day exploring Cantigny Park together. It’s one of the places they had gone when they first started dating and going back brought back a bunch of sweet memories. They walked the grounds, climbed on the tanks and explored the gardens together.
When they reached the Rock Garden, Molly realized they were all alone. Turning back to look at Jeff, she saw him drop down on one knee.
It was totally unexpected and the perfect proposal for these two. 🙂
