A Spring Engagement at Cantigny Park: Shannon & Jim

Engagement

While Shannon & Jim knew each other in high school, it wasn’t till years later that they reconnected and when on their first date.

As they chatted on their first date, they were surprised by how much they had in common! As Shannon said, “I think we both always say after that first date we knew we’d be together for a really long time.”

This past December 2021, the couple bought their first home together so to celebrate owning their home for one year, Jim planned a fun dinner at one of their favorite downtown restaurants. Before heading over though, Jim took Shannon over the Lincoln Park.

As they reached the Pavilion, Shannon noticed Jim starting to act weird. The next thing she knew, Jim was down on one knee. 🙂

The perfect proposal, was even more perfect when Jim surprised Shannon AGAIN by having all their friends and family arrive afterward to celebrate the couple’s engagement.

Shannon & Jim, thank you so much for having me as your wedding & engagement photographer! I had a ton of fun with both of you and I just love the shots that we got!

Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!

Shannon & Jim, I hope you loved your sneak peek! Thanks again for coming out and I can’t wait to share your final gallery with you in the coming weeks!

Much Love,
