A Summer Wedding at Cantigny: Lindsay & Jake

post filed in:

Wedding

Getting to capture Lindsay & Jake’s wedding this past weekend was truly dreamy. 🙂 Stunning veil photos with Lindsay in the morning, fun shots of these two as they shared a first touch, and the couple’s sweet first dance. All beautiful parts of their day that I just loved getting to capture!

While there were so many incredible parts of this couples wedding day, including the rain staying away! I wanted to share just the top three unique moments from Lindsay & Jake’s wedding day. A Wedding Wednesday tradition. 🙂

#3. Lindsay & Jake’s ceremony exit! I just love a good bubbles exit after the ceremony and Lindsay & Jake’s wedding guests did not disappoint!

#2. The really fun first dance that Lindsay had with her Dad! While it started as a traditional dance, the two totally busted a move at the end with a mash-up of different songs, and the whole dance floor was packed at the end. It. Was. Perfect!

#1. Taking photos with Lindsay & Jake. 🙂 I know this sounds kinda funny, but the excitement that Lindsay had for photos with her friends and with Jake was truly contagious. From photos in the morning popping champagne with the Bridesmaids to sunset photos in the evening. Lindsay was just down for anything and I love all the final shots that we got. 🙂 Picking images for this sneak peek was so hard!

Lindsay & Jake, THANK YOU so much for having us! We had a ton of fun with both of you and I couldn’t be more excited for you two to start this next chapter together. 🙂

Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
