These college sweethearts met when they first started at Elmhurst College, now University. According to Tiana, Joey was actually the second person that she met! It didn’t take long for them to realize that they both had cousins that also went to Elmhurst University and the four became fast friends.
Junior year, Tiana & Joey started to officially date and all of their friends celebrated, it was about time!
This past Spring, Joey knew he wanted to ask Tiana to marry him. He decided he wanted to take Tiana to the Signature Room, the same place Joey’s parents got engaged. : )
Just before dinner, Joey got down on one knee, and just as the two were celebrating, a Violinist started to play her Dad’s favorite song… A sure sign her Dad was celebrating with them from heaven. : )
