An Associate Wedding by Cassie at The Paramount Meyer Ballroom: Brooke & Mike

When Brooke and Mike envisioned their wedding day, they imagined a day celebrating with friends and family. As a military couple with friends all over the country, having all of their people in one place was super special for them. : )
When I talked with Cassie after, she shared a few other special moments with me and I just loved getting to hear all about this sweet couple’s wedding day so… in true Watson Wedding tradition, here are the top three moments from the couple’s wedding day…
1. The weather was glorious!
After so many weddings in the heat and humidity, a brisk 55-degree day was more than welcome! Some found it a little chilly, but I LOVED it. Brooke’s mom was wise enough to think ahead and ordered a bunch of fleece blankets for the wedding guests to use during the ceremony. She decorated a couple of baskets with a tag that said, “To have and to hold in case you get cold.” So thoughtful and sweet.
2. Connor’s “Party Sleeves”
The Groomsmen wore their Air Force military uniforms for the ceremony. They all looked so handsome, standing up and supporting Mike on his wedding day. You’d never know it by looking at him with his uniform jacket on, but one of the Groomsmen had an actual surprise up his sleeves! Or, as he candidly referred to them, “Party Sleeves.” What looked like a regular white tux shirt actually had a collage of kitten faces on the sleeves and what looked like a collage of cute, wrinkly Shar-Pei dogs on the back. I have never seen anything like it before! So unique and funny!
3. End of the night Photos in front of the Paramount sign.
I loved that we were able to sneak out of the reception for a few minutes to grab a few end-of-the-night shots in front of the Paramount sign. I think you’ll see what I mean. ; )
Brooke and Mike, you two are the best and I’m so glad Cassie & the RWP Team got to be there to capture your wedding day!
