While there are so many parts to planning a wedding, makeup and hair is probably one that you’ve thought of a lot. You want to look like yourself and it’s your wedding day! You want to get a little glammed up. : ) This is one of the many reasons I love Tamara Makeup & Hair Artistry. Not only do they take the time to get to know their Brides, but they also do an amazing job making sure you feel like yourself AND getting you all glammed up. ; )

Q&A with Tamara from Tamara Makeup & Hair Artistry
Q: When did you first start to do makeup and what do you love most about working with Brides today?
A: I started doing makeup at a very young age, first at salons and then was fortunate to work at M.A.C. Cosmetics starting in 2004. The rest is history! I truly have always loved working with brides, even when I started at MAC I would do all of the brides that would come in. I love chatting with them, getting to know their stories, helping them through things and the energy on the wedding day! There is nothing like it!
Q: Do you offer both hair and makeup services?
A: We offer both hair and makeup, it’s a great way to ensure that our brides feel pampered and confident on their wedding day! We ensure that each bride receives a customized look tailored to their vision.
Q: What is one thing every couple should ask their makeup and hair artist?
A: What is their backup plan if they can’t make it? Having a backup plan is crucial in the wedding industry. When artists share a similar style, it ensures a cohesive look for the bridal party. Plus, if one artist can’t make it, another can step in seamlessly. Fortunately, this has never happened in our case, but sadly we often hear of it happening in the industry.
Q: What sets Tamara Makeup & Hair Artistry apart from other companies out there?
A: Experience is truly invaluable in the wedding industry. Our 19 seasons of working with couples have given us a wealth of insights and practical know-how. Our experience shines through in many ways, here are a few that set TMHA apart:
- Problem-Solving: When unexpected challenges arise, our seasoned team can solve them with confidence. Whether it’s a last-minute change or a logistical hiccup, or just putting nerves at ease!

A: At Tamara makeup, we think its one ; )
Q: Do you have a favorite memory from a recent wedding?
A: We just did a wedding where 6 out of the 10 attendees were all our past brides. That was a very special moment, being able to see how groups refer us for years and also the impact that we left on them.
