How to Get Stunning Veil Photos- Two Things to Remember

These are some of my all-time favorite shots to get! One of the questions I get often is, “What kind of veil should I get?”

This is such an important question to ask! Most likely, you’ve been pinning your favorite shots for a while and dreamy veil photos are probably some of your favorite to pin so here are the two things I tell all my Watson Brides to consider when finding their perfect wedding veil.

#1. The Length of your Wedding Veil.

There are so many different lengths of wedding veils you can get. The question is, which on is best for the photos you’re excited about.

If these are shots you’re excited about, I recommend a cathedral length veil. This will give us lots material to play with and allow us to get the highest variety of shots. 😉

#2. The Weight of your Wedding Veil.

Remember, the heavier your wedding veil, the faster it will fall and the less likely it will be to move in the wind. With that in mind, I recommend finding a lighter veil.

FAQ: Cathedral sounds really long! Do I have to wear it all day?

Such a good question to ask! You don’t have to wear it all day. In fact, I recommend putting it on right before your ceremony. This way you can WOW your Groom even after your first look and we can get some extra shots with the veil after your ceremony.

Pro Tip: There are a lot of other ways your wedding veil adds to photos! Think detail shots and getting ready in the morning. 😉

I hope this post has been helpful to you! If you have other questions you want to see answered here, let me know! I always love hearing from you.

Much Love,
