An Associate Wedding by Cassie at The Hyatt Lodge: Annie & Ali

Associates

Cassie & the RWP team had an absolute blast photographing Annie & Ali’s gorgeous day this past weekend! Elegance, joy, and fun were bursting from every aspect of their wedding. Before we jump into the photos, here are Cassie’s top three moments:

Annie’s first look with her dad! Annie very obviously has a close and beautiful relationship with her dad. Before placing Annie’s dad for the first look, we were able to hide Annie behind closed doors. I came back to get Annie and walked her out behind her dad. As soon as she saw him, she immediately got choked up, which made me start to cry. We both took a big, deep breath, and I guided her through her first look with Dad. It was such a beautiful moment, one that I know I won’t forget.

Sunset Photos! During all the excitement of the cake cutting, first dance, and prayer, I couldn’t help but notice the sun setting outside. The colors were so vibrant, and the light was just amazing! As soon as I saw the perfect moment with the sun casting a warm glow, I went up to Annie and Ali and suggested that we step outside for just a few minutes to capture the stunning sunset. We walked outside, and let me tell you, it was absolutely magical. The fading light created the most enchanting backdrop, and it added a whole new dimension to the photos. I was so thrilled with the images we captured – it made the day even more special!

Flash Mob! Annie’s bridesmaids put together not just one, but two spectacular flash mob dances! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they organized and rehearsed choreographed performances with Annie and Ali’s friends and family. The dances were a complete surprise for the couple, and the energy and excitement were simply amazing! Annie and Ali were completely taken aback and absolutely loved every single moment of it. It was a heartwarming and unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Bravo to the bridesmaids for their creativity and dedication!
