2023 Venue Series: The Hyatt Lodge

What part of the wedding process brings you the most joy?

The thing that brings me the most joy is seeing my couples true happiness. Especially the week of their wedding at our final meeting when couples are so excited and feel confident in the Lodge and our staff to execute the wedding of their dreams. Then again after the wedding has taken place when I follow up to confirm how everything went. It’s just the best feeling when my couples tell me how perfect their day was!

When looking for a wedding venue, what should every Bride know?

Every Bride should do a little research before booking their venue. From looking at online reviews to scrolling through the venue’s Instagram. It is always a good idea to come to a site tour with some background on the venue. I especially love when my couples come in with a list of questions! I would rather have a couple ask me 100 questions than none because I know that at the end of that site tour, we’re all on the same page. I always want my couples to feel confident we have answered all their questions when they leave a site tour at the Hyatt Lodge. Full transparency is key. Most couples that come in have never planned a wedding before and often don’t know where to start, and that’s okay! That is why doing a little research and coming up with a list of questions is so helpful. Not only to the couple but also to me so I can better understand what a couple is looking for in their wedding experience and how I can best assist them in planning their special day!

What is the best part of working with The Hyatt Lodge?

There are so many perks when it comes to choosing the Hyatt Lodge for your wedding day! From the scenery and atmosphere to the quality of food we provide. However, I would consider the best part about working with the Hyatt Lodge the level of service we provide. Our Hyatt Lodge family is always excited and ready to assist our couples to ensure a great experience. From the initial booking with the Sales Team to the planning process and the execution by our Banquets Team, our experienced staff is a well-oiled machine and will always give the best possible service!

We had a small reception at The Hyatt Lodge in 2020 and a larger one in 2021. The event staff was attentive the day of and made sure we had everything we needed. They provided rooms for the bridal party to get ready with breakfast and lunch options delivered right to the room. There were a lot of menu options to choose from and we received several compliments on the food at the reception. There were also tons of great locations for photos all around the property! Overall, we were very happy and if we did it all over again (a third time), we would pick the same venue!

From helping us choose the perfect ceremony spot, to food recommendations, and ensuring that every detail was meticulously executed, their expertise and commitment to excellence left us feeling stress-free and confident that our wedding day would be perfect. Looking back both of us would not have changed a thing!
