An Associate Wedding by Cassie at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club: Lea & Brandon

It was the highest honor to have Cassie & The RWP Team there to photograph Lea & Brandon’s beautiful wedding day this past weekend!!! These two were the cutest ever and SO excited to marry each other! Their day was filled to the brim with smiles & laughs, heartfelt details, and special connection with friends & family.
While there were so many fun moments to remember, we wanted to share just three of Cassie’s favorite moments…
#3. Bride and Groom First Look: In my search for the perfect spot for the bride and groom’s private first look and vow reading, I stumbled upon a charming location near their home along a lovely jogging path. One of the most beautiful moments for me was when Brandon first laid eyes on Lea. His genuine and emotional reaction was truly heartwarming, and it’s the kind of moment that every bride dreams of on her wedding day. After their emotional first look, I had the couple stroll along the path while I captured some candid photos. That’s when Brandon shared with me just how special the location was to them. He mentioned they had walked along that same path in their pajamas the morning before the wedding festivities began. It was a beautiful, full-circle moment that felt incredibly sweet and meaningful and just added to the day’s magic.
#2. The bridesmaids’ dresses: Lea gave her bridesmaids a pink color palette and let the ladies pick out their own dresses. They were gorgeous! I loved the mix of dark and bright pinks, florals, and subtle ruffles. They looked like they stepped out of a bridal magazine!
#1. The Father of the Bride speech: Lea’s dad absolutely nailed his speech for his daughter and new son-in-law. He took everyone on an emotional journey, referencing a heartwarming Kodak commercial that showcased the passage of time through photos from a child’s birth, to kindergarten, schooling, college, and marriage. He drew parallels with his own journey of watching his beautiful daughter grow up and now getting married. His words were so touching that there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! He shared how proud he was of his little girl and how much he loves his new son. It was a truly special moment that everyone will remember.
