An Associate Engagement by Cassie at Blackwell Forest Preserve: Taylor & Zach

In a twist of fate that sounds like a modern romance, Taylor and Zach, despite the miles between Milwaukee and the Chicago suburbs, matched on Hinge in 2021. Taylor playfully labeled Zach “geographically undesirable” after their initial chats, and for a moment, it seemed distance would keep them apart.
However, eight months later, Zach’s unexpected text about being in town sparked a memorable first meeting that turned four hours into the beginning of forever. This leap over geographical hurdles led them to buy a home together in Batavia, marking a new chapter in their shared life.
The pinnacle of their love story was reached during a family trip to Michigan when Zach, surrounded by loved ones and against the beautiful backdrop of a beach sunset, proposed to Taylor in a scene straight out of a romance movie.
