A Fall Engagement at Blackwell Forest Preserve: Angela & Matt

In an age where digital connections often spark real-world flames, the story of how Angela & Matt met unfolds across the screens of a dating app, bridging a distance of 70 miles with conversations that promised something more.

Skepticism turned into curiosity for Angela, as the small-town charm of a place she’d never heard of beckoned—a place she now calls home, alongside Matt, nearly two years later.

Their connection, vibrant and undeniable, led them to a first date at Hardware, a restaurant in Aurora, marking the beginning of their shared journey.

Just this past August, Matt planned an afternoon for the perfect proposal at a local park, cleverly disguised as a casual meeting with friends, something Angela quickly discovered was something more. To make it even better, Matt planed a celebration back at their home, surrounded by the moms and grandparents of both, underscoring the profound importance of family in their intertwined lives. : )
