This weekend we officially kicked off wedding season and I couldn’t have imagined a better weekend!

Mal & Sam got married this past Friday at The Brix on the Fox. While I was a little worried about the rain in the forecast, when we headed outside for photos, things slowly began to clear up and we were able to get some really fun shots outdoors!

While there were so many unique details and moments in Mal & Sam’s wedding, here are are just five the come to mind. 🙂 A Wedding Wednesday tradition…

 

#5. Coming in at number 5, the lightsaber exit that Mal & Sam planned! While I’ve had lightsabers at a few weddings, I’ve never gotten to do an exit with them! This totally fit these two and I just love how the shots turned out!

#4. It’s always fun when couples surprise each other. This had to be one of the best though… Just as people were getting ready to eat, the DJ announced a special song… written by Sam, composed by one of his friends and sang by another. It was funny, cute and Mal loved it!

#3. The couples ceremony. 🙂 I don’t think anyone could have done a better job officiating Mal & Sam’s wedding than their Aunt. It was totally them, including bourbon unity shots AND a couple funny moments. Especially, when the best man gave the “rings” to Sam. It took me a second to realize he had just handed Sam Ring Pops instead of the rings. Everyone laughed. 🙂

#2. Boo. I mean… this pupper is adorable! It was so special getting to include him in so much of the day. From Mal getting ready, the couples first look to being the flower pup. I’m so glad Mal & Sam had a venue that encouraged him being there and I LOVED the guest gifts & decore the included Boo! You’ll have to scroll to see what I mean. 😉

#1. Finally, the best moment of the night was Mal & Sam’s first dance. They didn’t do just any dance, they redid the dance from Grease, “You’re The One That I Want” and they nailed it!!!

 

I could go on and on about Mal & Sam’s wedding. (For real! I have at least 5 other goofy moments written down next to me!) However, without any further delay… Mal & Sam, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
