A July Wedding at Cantigny: Lauren & Chad

Congratulations to Lauren & Chad who got married this past weekend at Cantigny Park. 🙂 It was a beautiful wedding and I’m very excited about this sneak peek, but first! Top five moments of Lauren & Chad’s wedding…

#5. Something you need to know about Lauren & Chad is how important family is to both of them. It’s something I saw over and over again throughout their day. It’s also something I very much relate to. 🙂

Coming in at number 5 was their bridal party. I loved how many of their nieces & nephews were in the bridal party and I especially loved that both of Chad’s daughters stood up with Lauren! Super sweet.

#4. Lauren, a rockstar elementary school teacher, also invited her students to their wedding ceremony. Besides really cute shots of them watching the ceremony, I also loved how they were included. During the ceremony all the students came up and gave Lauren a rose. Then, Lauren & Chad wrapped the roses into a bouquet and brought them over to Mary. 🙂

#3. Driving from the church to Cantigny the emergency alert system came on over the radio. As I listened, I realized there was a good chance we had a storm headed our way. (Yikes!) We started bridal party photos, trying to squeeze in what we could. As I looked to my right the wind picked up and I saw HUGE dark clouds heading our way!

However, it never rained and as everything passed overhead it cooled from 95 degrees all the way down to 77 before the sun popped back out again. A much needed break! I also think the kids thought the whole thing was really fun! You’ll have to check out their expressions.

#2. The limo. I’ve seen lots of different transportation options, but what made this so special, was all the kids and their reaction to the limo. They could not get enough of it! Scroll to check it out. 😉

#1. There were so many sweet moments between these two, but I especially loved this. Coming in at number 1 was Lauren & Chad’s first dance. Beautifully choreographed you could truly see the depth of relationship as they danced. 🙂

Lauren & Chad, thank you so much for having us. 🙂

Snuggle up! You’re sneak peek is ready!
