Whenever I write a Wedding Wednesday post, the first thing I do is brainstorm ideas for the top five wedding moments.
My brainstorm note card is always more than five. It’s one of the things I love about my couples! They’re planning for their wedding and their new lives together, but their also thinking about their guests, family and bridal party. They want the day to be special for them too. It’s those thoughtful things, guest remember and truly adds to the celebration. 😊
Rachel & Matt are no exception! Their brainstorm card was WAY more than five highlights!
Narrowing it down was tough, but in true Wedding Wednesday tradition, here are the top five moments. (I may have grouped them together a little. 😂 )
#5. Champagne in the morning for the bridesmaids. I mean, you have to right? However, the best part was when Rachel took the Champagne onto the back patio… You’ll have to scroll to check it out. 😉
#4. Running around downtown Lemont with Rachel & Matt. We found a super cute street downtown. Thanks for trusting me with portrait locations. I love the shots we got. Especially, the veil photos! Oh, and thanks for braving the rain. Rockstar couple! You can’t even tell.
#3. Did you know Rachel’s Grandpa plays the bagpipes? What? I know! At the end of their ceremony, Rachel’s Grandpa escorted them down the aisle playing the bagpipes. It’s something their guests will not soon forget and I love the family aspect. Super sweet ceremony exit!
#2. Their reception. From seeing Matt being lifted into the air by his friends, the driving range space during cocktail hour, the taco truck for their guests and stunning sparkler exit. Each part of their reception was unique, genuine & joyful. 🙂
#1. Coming in at number one… the couples first dance. 🙂 Especially, when Matt dipped Rachel! It’s such a quick moment, but the smile on Rachel’s face said it all.
