A December Wedding at Drury Lane: Meghan & Jake

Wedding

I remember when I first met Meg. Oldest of three girls. First to get married. The connections we shared only started there. I was pumped when Meg & Jake said they wanted to have us as their wedding photographer team. 🙂

Elegant, classy and thoughtful details. Their wedding day was beautiful!

It was hard to think of just 5 top moments! They had the sweetest first look, an ornament guest book 😍, epic trolley and the way Meg’s first dance with her Dad started… all fantastic moments. However, off the top of my head, here are just 5 of the top moments from Meg & Jake’s wedding…

#5. Getting to work with Blake. 🙂 I love when we get to work together. Not just because he is super cute, but also because his problem solving skills can’t be matched. As soon as we arrived where Meg was getting ready, I saw this stunning staircase. I knew I wanted to hang the dress there, but I wasn’t sure how to make it happen. Blake figured it out though. Go ahead and scroll. Try to guess. 🙂

#4. As Meg & Jake walked out of their ceremony, I looked up at the threshold. There was mistletoe! Naturally, we got the shot. 🙂

#3. I always love when couples do some sort of exit from their ceremony or reception. This was a first though, Meg & Jake had fake snow for guests to throw exiting their ceremony! I couldn’t get enough of it.

#2. I loved the detail Meg put into the morning. From matching Winter Pjs, socks and popping champagne. We were able to get so many fun shots of her and her bridesmaids. If you’re looking for some Winter inspiration, you’re in the right spot! (Oh! And that mirror in their living room, loved playing with it!)

#1. Finally, the top moment. How do I say this… during the reception, Meg’s cousin brought her “stripper shoes” from her own bachlorette party out for Meg. Talk about memorable. You’ll have to scroll to see for yourself. 😂 Shout out to Meg. Elegant, classy and goofy.

Meg & Jake, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photographers. We loved getting to work with both of you and wish you all  the best as you begin this new chapter together.
