Even though Sarah & Ian grew up just down the road from each other, they actually didn’t meet until there were 23. When I asked Sarah about this, she joked that it was a good thing. They wouldn’t have been ready for each other earlier.
When they did finally meet at a Memorial Day party… it didn’t go as expected.
While Sarah thought Ian was cute, he, “would barley speak” to her!
However, by the end of the night they had talked a little. Just enough for Sarah to message him the next day about a Kelsea Ballerini song he had mentioned. They haven’t stopped talking since!
Fash forward to Sarah’s birthday, Ian planned a surprise party for Sarah with both their families. When she arrive home and saw them all, she was shocked!
Even more surprising though, was when Ian got down on one knee right there in front of everyone and proposed. 🙂 It was perfect.
