Being at Julia and Brandon’s wedding this past weekend was perfect from popping champagne in the morning with the ladies and stunning florals to getting fun photos with the guys and their matching socks. Each detail was thoughtfully put together and I couldn’t be more excited about this sneak peek.
But first, a wedding tradition. The top three moments from Julia & Brandon’s wedding day.
#3. The first moment that comes to mind is the spontaneous dance, Julia, Brandon’s Mom and the rest of the wedding guests did to “Dancing Queen” following the lead of Grandpa during the reception. I didn’t even know there was a dance to it, and Grandpa rocked it!
#2. When Julia and Brandon took a Shotski with their friends during the reception! The same friends who they shared a Shotski with previously at the last wedding.
#1. Finally, the best moment of the wedding day, outside of dream bridal party portraits and the cutest first look ever, was just after the couple’s first dance.
Julia & Brandon have all 8 of their Grandparents still around and are still happily married. : ) As a surprise to them, the DJ called them all onto the dance floor and played part of each of their first dance songs!
To see over 200 years of collective wisdom on the dance floor… put simply, it is a moment none of the guests nor I will ever forget. It was beautiful, sweet, and just perfect.
