A Summer Wedding at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook: Elizabeth & Nick

post filed in:

Wedding

When I think about Elizabeth & Nick’s wedding this past Saturday so many fun memories come to mind. The couple’s first look that they shared, the private vows, and when the Groomsmen popped confetti to name a few! This couple’s day was full of joy and I’m so grateful we got to be there to capture it. : )

While I’m really excited about this sneak peek, I wanted to share just three of my favorite memories from Elizabeth & Nick’s wedding. A wedding tradition!

#3. When Elizabeth’s Dad got up to share a speech, he got up to the mic, showed everyone the “short” speech and then let the whole thing fully unwind till it was 2 feet long! You’ll have to scroll to see what I mean. ; )

#2. While florals don’t usually make the top three, this past Saturday, the florals were breathtaking! From getting ready in the morning, the bouquets, and the ceremony arch to all the florals in the reception. Everything was truly incredible and something guests will not soon forget!

#1. The first dance that Elizabeth & Nick shared. This was so special to watch. I remember them telling me about the lessons they were taking, the practice and to see it fully come together… so, so special. : )

Elizabeth & Nick, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photographers! I just love the shots that we got and I couldn’t be more excited about this sneak peek!

Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
