A Summer Wedding at the Hyatt Lodge: Katie & Chris

Wedding

Getting to be at Chris & Katie’s wedding this past weekend was truly a dream. Katie & Chris first met a few years ago online. While it took a little bit of time to coordinate their first date, when they did finally meet in person, there was no doubt there was something special there.

At the end of their third date, Chris gave Katie, a teacher, a cute little apple with her last name on it… which leads us into the top three moments from Chris & Katie’s wedding day. A Wedding Wednesday tradition…

#3. The morning of their wedding, Chris sent a gift over to Katie. When she opened it, it was a new little apple with her new last name on it. I think Katie’s face as she opened it says it all. : )

#2. Getting to do Bride & Groom photos with just Katie & Chris! Friends… just as we were starting to do Bride & Groom photos it started to rain… While this was unexpected, Kaite & Chris were game for anything and I’m so grateful. : ) We found a couple of dry places and just got creative! I love how these shots turned out. : )

#1. When Katie & Chris exchanged private vows just past sunset. These are always special moments and getting to capture the love that these two share… it was perfect.

Katie & Chris, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photography team. We had a ton of fun with both of you and, even with the rain, I love the shots that we got. : )
