When Lauren & Ryan first reached out to us about photographing their wedding day, I knew Lauren right away she was a Watson Bride and I thought just maybe, Cassie would be the perfect fit. : ) I am so glad she was!
Going through Lauren & Ryan’s images this past week, I could see just how special their day truly was. When I asked Cassie to share just three of her favorite moments from Lauren & Ryan’s wedding she couldn’t do it. She had FIVE!
So… in true Watson Wedding tradition, here are the top five moments from Lauren & Ryan’s wedding day…
1. Father Daughter First look/game of catch
First looks are always a favorite to photograph. Such a special moment captured!! Lauren’s first look with her day was extra special because it was followed by a quick game of catch in front of the farmhouse. I don’t know who was wiping away more tears, them or me : )
2. PORCHES!! The Real MVP of a drizzly morning!
We used the porches for bridal party portraits, B&G First look, Bride and Dad First Look, Bride getting into the dress, and letter reading! The light was so pretty and with it being a wrap around porch, it offered different locations protected from the rain.
3. Wedding Party Place Cards
Instead of names on cards at the head table for the wedding party, Lauren and Ryan framed funny photos they had taken with each friend. So cute and a beautiful fun way to honor their friendship.
4. Sparkler Exit!
Lauren & Ryan invited all of the wedding guests outside for a sparkler exit. The best part? They got the five minute sparkers and we were able to have them run through a few times!
5. Nike Shoes!
The Bride wore white Jordan’s during the reception.
The Groom Wore Jordan’s.
The Groomsmen wore the same Jordan’s as Ryan, just opposite colors.
We loved photographing them!
Lauren & Ryan, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photography team. Cassie & Erik had a ton of fun with you and I just loved getting to see all the fun you guys had as I went through them after. : ) You two are truly the best and I’m so glad Cassie & Erik got to be there to capture your wedding day!
