Amanda & Noel met when a few years ago when they were both students at NIU. At the time, Amanda didn’t really have any interest. She was focused on her school work. Noel kept coming around though. Eventually, Amanda’s roommate, Watson Bride Megan, said to her, “Amanda, Noel is so nice I would approve of you dating him”
While they didn’t date right after that, it stuck in Amanda’s mind. The two got closer and closer over the next year and started to date after graduation. : )
Flash forward a couple of years, the two were enjoying a long weekend together in Fort Myers. They had an early dinner together with friends then headed down to the beach to enjoy the sunset.
As they walked up Amanda noticed a large set up for a proposal. Turning to Noel, she said, “Oh my gosh! We have to get out of the way! Someone is going to propose!”
Noel grabbed her hand, “Yeah, come here.” he said with sly smile.
Totally shocked Amanda let Noel take her over to the space with a Marry Me sign and then Noel got down on one knee. : )
The perfect proposal made even more perfect when Amanda’s college roommate, Megan and her husband Fermin popped out to celebrate with them after. : )
