Capturing Maria & Matt’s wedding this past Saturday was truly special. : ) There were so many unique parts of their day! From getting ready in the morning at their home downtown Chicago, a special first dance with Dad and the couples first look as Maria walked down the aisle, to the 50th Anniversary dance for one of their wedding guests. Each part of their day was thoughtfully put together and I’m so grateful we got to capture it. : )
While there were so many fun parts to their day, I wanted to share just the top three moments that came to mind. A Wedding Wednesday tradition. : )
#3. Popping Champagne with Maria & Matt at the end of the night. I’ve only done this a couple of times so when Maria & Matt said they were game, I was so excited! The final shot… I think you’re going to love it!
#2. The totally unique photo booth option that Maria & Matt had at their reception. Friends. I have never seen this before! Instead of having a booth people walk over to, the “booth” walked around to guests to get sweet photos of friends and family as they celebrated the couple. Totally unique and a really fun way to remember the day. : )
#1. The couples first dance. I just LOVE when couples choreograph their dances. From the spins, the dips to the pick up, Maria and Matt totally nailed it and guests loved it!
Maria & Matt, THANK YOU so much for having us! I had a ton of fun with both of you and I just love the final shots that we got. : )
