Getting to go through and edit these shots from RWP Associate Photographer, Cassie this week has been so much fun! The stunning light, the beautiful locations. These images are beautiful and most importantly, they capture the love that Julie & Jesse share. : ) A love that started when these two were just in high school!
While these two met Freshman year and were friends throughout all of high school, they didn’t go on their first date till September of their Senior year.
While they liked each other a lot, they didn’t go on a second date till March! Something Julie still gives Jesse a hard time about. ; )
The two went to Senior Prom together not long after and have been together ever since. : )
This past May, Jesse knew he wanted to propose to Julie.
The two headed out for a walk at Knoch Knolls park in Naperville. As they walked together, they reached a fallen log. Jesse asked Julie if she remembered the last time they were there together. That’s when it happened…
Julie got a rock in her shoe!
Jesse bent down to help Julie, but instead of standing up after, he stayed down on one knee and pulled on an engagement ring. : ) The perfect, and surprising, proposal. : )
Julie & Jesse, thank you so much for having us! I’ve loved getting to know you two, love the faith that you share and we couldn’t be more excited for you two to start this next chapter as husband and wife. : )
