Getting to photograph Krista & Mike’s wedding this past weekend was truly a pleasure. : ) Their day was full of sweet moments, fun surprises and a little of the unexpected. The best wedding day combo!
Sweet Moments: One of my favorite moments of their wedding day was the moment that Mikey saw Krista for the first time. These two couldn’t WAIT to see each other and the photos say it all! Krista, you looked amazing and I still LOVE all the stunning details your dress had. : )
I also loved watching DJ & Entertainer Anthony (Frank) Cassano, (Who DJ’ed Krista’s parents wedding over 30 years ago!) during their reception. As Anthony Frank walked around singing to guests, he handed out a dozen single roses to different ladies including Grandma!
The Unexpected: Just as we were wrapping up photos at the Park we looked West and saw HUGE storm clouds coming in! The storm was totally unexpected and our timing was perfect! We were headed to the couple’s indoor ceremony. : )
Fun Surprises: As Mikey & his Mom started their dance together, the whole room fixed their attention on the sweet moment. That’s when it happened… the music changed and the duo performed an epic first dance including quick clips from dances like “Crank That” by Soulja Boy. Guests loved it and some even got to their feet at the end of the dance!
Krista & Mikey, thank you so much for having us. : ) I’m so honored we got to be there to capture this special day and I just love all the shots that we got together.
