It’s Wedding Wednesday!
Val & Jason renewed their vows this past weekend at Cog Hill and the day could not have been more beautiful. 🙂 I’m so excited about this sneak peek!!! However first, a Watson Wedding tradition, the Top Five things from Val & Jason’s wedding…
#5. A “Blushing Bride” and a “Dashing Groom.” While these words definitely described Val & Jason, they were also the names of their signature drinks during the reception! It was a subtle detail. Unique to them and loved by their guests!
#4. One of my favorite questions to ask couples when I first meet them, is if there are any unique traditions taking place during their reception. Sometimes it’s a family tradition, something cultural or sometimes, it’s a fun college tradition!
For Jason, it was a tradition from his fraternity and I thought it was so sweet! I don’t want to give it away though. You’ll have to scroll to check it out. 😉
#3. As this tradition came to an end, the bridal party spontaneously broke into the Conga Dance! Unexpected and energetic, guests joined in or enjoyed taking video from the side. 🙂 It’s how their bridal party was all day though! Energetic, helpful and joyful. A really incredible group of friends. 🙂

#2. The couples first look. (Though I did also LOVE the first look Val shared with her Dad earlier in the day!) We found a beautiful location just in front of Cog Hill. It was shaded, with lush greenery and some great lead lines! The first look… genuine, joyful and a truly unforgettable moment.
#1. Finally, Val & Jason’s sparkler exit! I don’t know what it is, but I can’t get enough of these! And this exit, amazing! The sparklers even lasted long enough for Val & Jason to run through a second time! The perfect way to end the evening. 🙂
