Maribel & Neal got married this past Friday and it was such a sweet wedding celebration! While they’ve technically been married about a year, they renewed their vows. This time, with their all their closest friends and family. 🙂
But before we go any further, the Top Five Moments/Things from Maribel & Neal’s wedding day…
#5. Their custom Converse. These were truly awesome! Not only did they have Mrs. & Mrs. respectively, but they also had the couples wedding date on them! I’ve seen a lot of fun shoes for wedding days, but these were truly unique. 🙂
#4. The ceremony. Having a lot of native Spanish speakers, Maribel & Neal opted to have their ceremony in both Spanish AND English. While I don’t remember much Spanish from high school, it was fun getting to pick up on some of it and Maribel’s sister, Esmeralda, totally rocked it!
#3. The adorable Flower Girl! Sofia was an awesome little helper all day, but really shined when it was her turn to walk down the aisle. She carefully placed flowers all around her before taking a step forward and doing it all over again. She was barley a quarter of the way down the aisle when she ran out of flowers. It was precious. 🙂
#2. The flow of speeches and table 4. Maribel and Neal opted to open up the floor during dinner to anyone who wanted to share a speech. Throughout all of dinner, table 4 would start to chant a name till that person got up, made a fun speech and toasted the Bride & Groom. The energy was high and people thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially when Maribel’s Dad got up! You can scroll to check it out. 😉
#1. Coming in at number 1 though was absolutely Maribel & Neal’s first dance. In her words, “Everyone thinks we’re nerds, but we’re going to really surprise them with our first dance!” And that they did! While it started out as a sweet, traditional first dance, it didn’t take long for the music to change and these two totally busted a move! It. Was. Awesome!
