Y’all. This was such a fun session! Not only because we got to sneak in so many fun outfits, but also because we got to go around the Lincoln Park Zoo, North Ave Beach AND we got the perfect sunset. 😀 I still can’t believe how perfectly it all came together. 🙂
Steph and Casey met just a few years ago at their work place. It took a while to move from co-workers to significant others, but they’ve been together almost 3 years now and they fit perfectly. 🙂
When asked what they’re most excited about when they think about their wedding, they said, “Knowing that we will spend the rest of our lives together and being able to think about our future together.” (Grabs Kleenex. That was just so sweet!)

And this right here is where Jonathan Toews stopped so we could take photos. 😀 Yes. You read that right.
The LPZ is a really busy location. It was sweet that this stranger, stopped, gave us a second and then kept walking once we had finished up. Once he had passed by, Steph goes, “I think that was Toews!”
Steph & Casey, being HUGE sports fans, I knew this was exciting. “From the Blackhawks?” I questioned. Not really sure that Steph could so confidently spot him and that he would happen to be here?
We continued on, speculating and having fun wondering about the possibility.
The next morning when I checked messages, I had a message from Steph with a link to a press conference that Toews had done just yesterday. And… he was wearing the exact outfit that the stranger at the LPZ had been wearing. 🤯
Steph & Casey, THANK YOU so much for coming out to Chicago for your engagement session with me! I had a ton of fun with both of you and I can’t wait for your wedding day!!!
