My guess is, if you’re checking out this post, you’re starting to think about your engagement session. First, congratulations on your engagement! You’re in the right spot!
This series highlights just a few different locations that I love in a few different backdrops. If you’re looking for a more nature backdrop, check out this post. If you’re hoping to do and engagement session downtown Chicago, check back next Wednesday!
While I always love getting to check out new locations at engagement sessions, if you’re feeling stuck I do have a few locations I just love! Especially, if you’re looking for a local downtown feel. 🙂
While there are lots of great locations, here is a breakdown of a few of my favorites…
Downtown Wheaton
What I love about Wheaton is the cute downtown feel that it offers. From old brick alleys, the iconic blue door at Carlson’s, downtown sidewalks, shops and unique doorways. Each street offers something unique and if you want to switch it up for part of your session, I love the small park by the Wheaton Public Library. Especially, when the sun begins to set!
The Naperville Riverwalk
What I love about the Naperville Riverwalk is the uniqueness of this location. From their brick paths next to the river to the iconic Naperville bridges, this location has a lot to offer and being right downtown, we can even snag some shots downtown.
Downtown Geneva
This is a newer location that I’ve come to love. While my office isn’t far from 3rd street, I didn’t really explore it till this past year. All I have to say is, I’m so glad I did! I love the newer downtown look, the shops and all the unique spaces it has to offer. Check it out!
I hope this post has been helpful to you! There really are a lot of beautiful locations in our area. : ) While I hope you find a few options you like in this series, remember, sometimes the best locations are locations that mean the most to you. Always game to check out a new location with you. : )
I hope you enjoyed!
Much Love,
