A Summer Wedding at Cantigny: Clare & Daniel

post filed in:

Wedding

Clare & Daniel got married this past Saturday and it was truly a stunning wedding. 🙂

While there were many fun and memorable things that happened at this sweet couples wedding, such as popping champagne, and wondering Cantigny Park together together, I wanted to share just the first five the come to mind. 🙂 A Wedding tradition.

#5. The tanks! While I feel like this is a favorite shot for many Grooms at Cantigny, the shots we got last Saturday were actually some of my favorite tank shots we’ve ever gotten! So glad Daniel and his groomsmen were game!

#4. Coming in at number four would be the surprise speech by Clare’s sisters Kate & Nora!

Kate shared with Daniel lots of research from over the years to help Daniel know what to expect in his new marriage while Nora held up the giant book of research. It was perfectly done and I loved the props. 🙂

#3. Sunset photos with the Bride & Groom! The best part? By the time sunset came, most of Cantigny Park had emptied out so we got some really fun shots outside the main visitor center. Including some shots with a line of American flags! Perfect for a 4th of July weekend wedding. 🙂

#2. The first look that Clare did with her bridesmaids! This was such a sweet moment, but I’ll let you scroll to see what I mean. 😉

#1. Finally, while Clare & Daniel align in so many areas of their lives, there is one area they do not… Football. However, Clare, a Bears fan, surprised Daniel at their reception by giving him a Grooms cake representing his favorite football team… the Packers. The cake was beautiful, more importantly, Daniel loved it and the lemon flavor. 🙂

Clare & Daniel THANK YOU so much for having me as your engagement and wedding photographer. 🙂 I’m so grateful we got to be there to capture this next step in your relationship and I’m really excited about the shots we got!

Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
