Melissa & Jimmy got married this past Saturday at one of my favorite local venues, the Danada House!

While there were many fun parts to their wedding day, I wanted to highlight just the first five that came to mind. A Wedding Wednesday tradition. 🙂

 

#5. Kicking us off at number 5, the room reveal that the Danada House & Marie’s Catering did for the Bride and Groom. 🙂 It’s so special to see years of planning come together and getting to see it all privately before guests arrived was just the sweetest. 🙂

#4. The heirloom ring box that Melissa had! What was special about this metal double heart ring box, is that it’s actually the same box Melissa’s Grandpa used to propose to her Grandma all those years ago. I’m so glad we got to work it into photos!

#3. The special dance to “I Had the Time of My Life” at Melissa & Jimmy’s wedding! I’m still not 100% sure where the tradition came from, but I LOVED getting photos of Melissa’s Mom & Cousin leading everyone through it. 🙂

#2. Coming in at number 2, the moment in the morning when flower girl, Taylor, was insistent that she help put on Melissa’s shoes when she was getting ready. Y’all. You just have to scroll to see how sweet this was. 😉

#1. Finally, the best moment of the day was Melissa & Jimmy’s first look. There really is nothing else like it. 🙂 The staircase was a beautiful backdrop and the moment, just perfect. 🙂
