Kate & Kevin got married this past Saturday at Cantigny Park on the East Lawn and their ceremony was truly beautiful. I’m so grateful we got to be there to capture their wedding day. 🙂

While there were many fun parts of their wedding day, photos on the East lawn, veil photos… I wanted to share just the first five that come to mind. A Wedding Wednesday tradition.

 

#5. Kevin’s orange tie. I mean… it was just perfect! A small pop of color and a node to his favorite color. I love how it tied in with everything else and I love how Kate made sure Kevin had a hand in putting some of the details together. 🙂

#4. Popping Champagne in the morning with the Bridesmaids! While this is always a favorite for me, this weekend was different because the Champagne popped early and totally surprised everyone! Shout out to my second shooter, Erik for getting the initial surprise!

#3. The Mother of the Groom, Eileen, as she and her whole family rocked out to  “Come on Eileen.” The dance floor was packed and the shots we got, priceless!

#2. The surprise that the Father of the Bride and Kate’s brother, Brian, had for the couple! You’ll have to scroll to see what it was, but it had to do with music and guests LOVED it! 😀

#1. The first look that Kate & Kevin shared next to the Rose Garden. 🙂 These moments are always so special and this weekend was no exception. The love these two share is so real and I’m just so honored we got to capture it. 🙂
