A Military Wedding at The Hyatt Lodge: Molly & Dave

post filed in:

Wedding

Molly & Dave got married this past weekend at the Grand Oak Pavilion, a beautiful room with floor to ceiling windows next to a mature forest. Absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for their wedding celebration.

While there were many fun parts of their wedding day like popping Champagne off the back of the trolly, the couples first look or the stunning florals we got to use in detail photos, I wanted to share just five. 🙂 A Wedding Wednesday tradition.

#5. Let me tell you something… we often get to pop champagne in the morning with Bridesmaids and I just love it! However, sometimes… the last Champagne bottle is opened before we arrive. (Oops!) Molly made sure this did NOT happen and I love how she did it. You’ll have to scroll to see what I mean. 😉

#4. The “Mary Like a Champion” sign Molly & Dave took a photo with! A fun tradition with their fellow Noter Dame alumni, it was one of the last shots of the night and I’m so glad we kept this tradition going!

#3. The first look that Molly shared with her Dad. Such a sweet moment. 🙂

#2. Exploring the grounds of The Hyatt Lodge together. While I’ve been here a number of times, it was so fun getting to re-explore it Molly & Dave. Different things popped out and we even got some shots by a down tree. Sounds weird… looked really cool!

#1. The Saber exit that the couple had from their church ceremony. 🙂 This is such a fun Military tradition and I’m so glad we got to be there to capture it.

Molly & Dave, thank you so much for having us. Your day was truly beautiful and I love the shots that we got together. 🙂

With that in mind… Grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
