While each New Years Eve is a little different, this NYE, Blake and I got to be downtown Chicago to capture Bridget & Patrick’s wedding day!

Y’all, there were so many fun parts of this day! A sweet first look between Bridget and her Dad. Beautiful swoopy veil photos with the wedding couple, confetti & mimosas in the morning. Even a sparkler exit! Each part of the day came together beautifully and I’m just so grateful we got to be there to capture it. 🙂

Bridget & Patrick, thank you so much for having us! We had a ton of fun with both of you and I just love this sneak peek! But first, I wanted to share the top five moments from your wedding day. A Wedding Wednesday tradition. 🙂

 

#5. Patrick’s first look with his Mom! We I don’t get to do these very often, I’m so, so glad we did this on Saturday! It was truly special and I don’t think there was a dry eye around.

#4. The grand staircase! Wowza! The Kimpton Gray Hotel has a stunning staircase inside and I just love the shots we were able to get there. 🙂 You’ll have to scroll to see what I mean. 😉

#3. Shooting downtown Chicago. Y’all. Usually, there are TONS of people all around. However, 2:00 PM on NYE, we had minimal traffic and barley any people around. Perfect for wedding photos. 😀

#2. The couples first dance. 🙂 Specifically, when Patrick dipped Bridget! We got the perfect shot.

#1. Coming in at number 1 was when Patrick saw Bridget walking down the aisle at church. One of the questions I get often is if doing a first look before the ceremony will take away from that moment. The answer, you’ll see when you see Patricks face. 😉
