When I think about Maura & Joe’s wedding this past Saturday, there are so many fun moments that come to mind. 🙂 Everything from beautiful the beautiful details in the morning to the packed dance floor in the evening. However, if I had to share just the Top Five Moments/Things from Maura & Joe’s wedding… these come to mind first. 🙂
#5. One of my favorite things Maura & Joe did at their wedding was the anniversary dance. It was so fun seeing so many couples on the dance floor. The best part was watching the winners of the anniversary dance, dance. These two waltzed all over the dance floor and they looked incredible doing it! Definitely a highlight. 🙂
#4. I also loved the guest gifts Maura & Joe landed on!
Instead of the traditional route, they picked four different charities and couples could vote which one they wanted Maura & Joe to donate to by dropping the cork that held their place card up in into a bucket. One for each of the four charities.
I loved this not only because it was a fun idea, but also because it showed just how much heart Maura & Joe have. 🙂 As Maura’s dad put it, a commonality they both share. 🙂
#3. Forget attack of the clones, this was attack of the Groomsmen! We had just wrapped up family photos when all the sudden all of the groomsmen came out with little nerf guns and got Joe! Totally unexpected and a fun memory. 🙂
#2. After first dances, Maura & Joe actually had a Mother Daughter Dance. This was awesome! I’ve never seen so many mothers and daughters on the dance floor together. It was perfect. So sweet an so special.
#1. Finally, I think my favorite part of Maura & Joe’s wedding was the couples first dance. Their friend actually wrote the song they danced to and then performed it live as they danced! Truly a unique and unforgettable part of their wedding day. 🙂
